14 Indian Women-Led Startups That Raised Funding in July 2026

By: Ayushi Dutta, Senior Correspondent

India's startup funding landscape slowed noticeably in July 2026, but the momentum behind women-led entrepreneurship remained resilient. Even as venture capital activity cooled across the broader ecosystem, women founders continued to attract investor confidence, securing capital across sectors ranging from fintech and healthtech to cleantech, beauty, luxury jewellery, and edtech. The month reflected a balanced mix of sizeable growth-stage investments and early-stage bets, signalling sustained faith in women entrepreneurs despite a more cautious funding environment.

According to Entrackr, India's startup ecosystem raised approximately $662 million (around ₹6,325 crore) across 85 deals in July 2026, marking a steep decline from June's $2 billion funding haul. Against this backdrop, women-founded and women-co-founded startups collectively secured at least 14 disclosed funding rounds worth approximately ₹2,030.5 crore, accounting for a significant share of the month's investment activity.

Leading the charts was Mumbai-based wealthtech platform Veriqus Group, which raised ₹387 crore, followed by Chennai's Iswarya Fertility Center, securing ₹350 crore in its first-ever external funding after operating as a bootstrapped business for nearly four decades. Limelight Diamonds also emerged among the month's biggest winners with a ₹275 crore strategic investment. At the same time, early-stage startups such as UpKraft and Truth & Hair demonstrated that investors continue to back promising women entrepreneurs from the pre-seed and seed stages.

The Women Entrepreneurs Review team has curated the 14 women-led startups that successfully raised funding in July 2026, highlighting the founders, investors, sectors, and growth plans driving the next phase of their journeys.

Funding Stage Breakdown of Women-Led Startup Deals in July 2026
