In the world of arts, Women of Music India has announced the second edition of PWR Pose in Mumbai, a platform dedicated to strengthening the identity and confidence of women artists and music professionals. On the sporting front, India celebrated a commanding win over Pakistan in the Blind Women’s T20 World Cup, marking their fifth consecutive victory.

Women of Music India to Host Second Edition of PWR Pose in Mumbai
'Women of Music India' (WoMI), a not-for-profit initiative by media advisor and entrepreneur Priyanka Khimani, has announced the second edition of PWR Pose set to take place in Mumbai on the 28th of November, 2025.
PWR Pose is WoMI's flagship program for building identity and confidence, specifically for women in the music realm, as artists or as music business professionals.
India Defeats Pak by 8 Wickets in Blind Women's T20 World Cup
India defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets in the Women's T20 World Cup for the Blind at the Katunayake BOI Grounds in Colombo on Sunday. India chased the target of 136 and reached 136/2 in 10 overs to win its fifth successive match of the tournament.
Pakistan, playing their second match, was bowled out for 135 after an early collapse at 23 for 4. Contributions by Mehreen Ali 66 and Bushra Ashraf 44 meant the innings remained in relatively good shape but India’s fielding performance led to seven run-outs.
Uno Minda Appoints Amrita Singh as Head of Human Resources
Uno Minda has elevated senior HR leader Amrita Singh as Head of Human Resources, further strengthening the company's emphasis on people development, capability building, and organisation growth across the mobility group.
The company announced the appointment as part of its larger efforts toward strengthening its workforce strategy in the face of technological shifts and increasing competition in the mobility sector.
Haryana Launches 'Drone Didi' Project with 36 Women Trainees
The Haryana government's ‘Drone Didi’ programme commenced with the launch of specialist drone pilot training for the first batch of 36 women.
Participants from Karnal and Kurukshetra districts have been divided into two groups of 18 each and are undergoing training at Drone Imaging and Information Service of Haryana Limited (DRIISHYA), a state-supported organisation in Karnal.
Delhivery Launches All-Women Distribution Centre in Kochi
Delhivery has announced plans to open a new all-women distribution center in Kochi, Kerala, making this its sixth all-women facility across India.
In its statement announcing the Kochi facility, the company stated that it has invested in amenities for women that include safe rest areas, changing areas, ergonomic workspaces, improved safety fixtures, and flexible work schedules to foster a positive impact for the balance between work and life.
Kurukshetra University Honours Women Achievers in STEM
Women who have excelled in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics were honored at an event organized by the Women in STEM Forum at Kurukshetra University in Senate Hall on Friday.
Vice-Chancellor Som Nath Sachdeva welcomed the recipients of recognition and stated that women scientists and researchers contribute fervently to innovation in India with dedication and creativity.
