'Women of Music India' (WoMI), a not-for-profit initiative by media advisor and entrepreneur Priyanka Khimani, has announced the second edition of PWR Pose set to take place in Mumbai on the 28th of November, 2025.

PWR Pose is WoMI's flagship program for building identity and confidence, specifically for women in the music realm, as artists or as music business professionals.

The program focuses on visibility, self-expression, and a sense of belonging through creative professional photography, wardrobe styling support, and the community of support.

PWR Pose 2.0 will expand beyond its successful inaugural edition in 2024, and target young boys and girls from socio-economically disadvantaged, diverse backgrounds who will be provided with professional photography and industry exposure, while being given the opportunity to build and grow their confidence and creative aspirations.

The 2025 edition will be a convergence of emerging artists, executives, creators, young talent, and industry supporters.

Activities curated for the event include photography sessions, glam teams, mentoring interactions, and community storytelling; all these, while focusing on highlighting talent across creative and executive roles in music and cultural industries.

PWR Pose forms part of WoMI's broader mission to build pathways, visibility, mentorship, and long-term opportunities for talent of Indian origin in the global music ecosystem.

Via education, industry engagement, community initiatives, and partnerships, WoMI works to strengthen representation within creative, business, and leadership roles.

This year's edition will see NGO partners in Mumbai, including The Dharavi Dream Project and The Sound Space, coming together with WoMI to support the expanded access for up-and-coming talent.

According to Priyanka, this year's initiative will aim at creating broader access for under-represented youth through a series of mentorship programs, workshops, and other opportunities for those pursuing creative careers.
