Kurukshetra University Honours Women Achievers in STEM

  • The Women in STEM Forum at Kurukshetra University organized a felicitation ceremony for women achievers in STEM fields
  • The Vice Chancellor, Som Nath Sachdeva, congratulated the awardees

Women who have excelled in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics were honored at an event organized by the Women in STEM Forum at Kurukshetra University in Senate Hall on Friday.

Vice-Chancellor Som Nath Sachdeva welcomed the recipients of recognition and stated that women scientists and researchers contribute fervently to innovation in India with dedication and creativity.

WIS Forum Coordinator Anita Bhatnagar made the following recognitions Dr. Neera Raghav (Department of Chemistry) received the award for the Highest Impact Research Paper.

Dr. Anita Yadav (Department of Biotechnology) was awarded for having the maximum number of citations. Dr. Parinam Anuradha, Department of Mechanical Engineering, UIET was recognized for obtaining the highest number of granted Patents amongst the faculty.

Research scholars, Chanchal Vashisth (Chemistry), Anshu (Zoology), and Prabhjot Kaur (Engineering & Technology), were also recognized for their research work. Additionally, Dr. Divya Gupta, Department of Physics, amongst faculty members, was also recognized for her outstanding research contributions.
