As a woman entrepreneur shaping India's digital future, what drives your passion for tech?

What drives me is technology’s ability to solve everyday financial problems at scale. Rent is the largest monthly expense for millions in India, yet it has traditionally been an unstructured, offline transaction. With RentenPe, we are digitizing rent payments and turning them into financial insights that can reward financial discipline and improve credit score for tenants.

How do you intend to build Rentenpe's services and expertise to strengthen India’s tech capabilities?

We are building a digital infrastructure around rent payments—one of India’s most consistent and recurring financial behaviours. . Going forward, we aim to create deeper data-driven solutions like Rent Credit Scores and landlord protection & rental insurance services, helping bring millions of renters into India’s formal financial ecosystem. 

On Women’s Day, what is the one change you hope to see in larger tech landscape that will empower future women leaders?

I hope to see greater access to capital and leadership opportunities for women in technology. While many women are building startups, representation in funding and decision-making roles are limited. Increasing visibility, mentorship, and investment in women-led ventures will help create a more inclusive ecosystem and empower the next generation of women founders to lead confidently.
