- Sirona and M3M India have come together to launch multi-product women's hygiene vending machines
- The machines will be installed outside ladies' washrooms in M3M malls and business complexes
- The project has been implemented with the objective to provide easy and dignified access to menstrual hygiene products
Sirona, a market-leading femtech company, has joined hands with M3M India, an innovative real estate development company, to place multi-product feminine hygiene vending machines in M3M's malls and commercial properties.
Strategically placed outside washrooms meant for women, the machines will make hygienic, convenient menstrual hygiene products such as menstrual cups, period pants, sanitary napkins, panty liners, toilet seat covers, and stain-removing wipes available.
The project is a first-of-its-kind achievement in public health infrastructure, with M3M being the first real estate company in India—and perhaps globally—to actively incorporate such solutions.
The project is the follow-up to Sirona's previous success at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi with GMR, reflecting increased momentum for inclusive women-centric public spaces.
Deep Bajaj, Co-founder of Sirona, has said, "This is not just a machine, it is a message. Menstrual hygiene products must be a fundamental amenity in all public places. With M3M, we have discovered a partner who believes in this philosophy and is establishing a strong benchmark for the Indian real estate industry as well as the world at large."
Dr. Payal Kanodia, Trustee & Chairperson M3M Foundation, further added, "Menstrual health is not a women's issue alone—it is an issue of dignity, equality, and overall well-being.
It is our commitment at M3M Foundation to shatter access, awareness, and stigma barriers. In our menstrual health drive to 39 locations in Delhi-NCR so far, we have touched 41,900 migrant workers, 48 percent of them being women."
"This alliance reinforces our commitment to empowering women—both as members of the workforce and as guests—in all M3M-developed environments."
With the installation of these vending machines, the partnership not only increases availability of essential hygiene products but also breaks centuries of social stigmas around menstruation.
