Igneta D’Souza, Co-founder & CPO, Ziroh Labs

Igneta Dsouza is a technology professional specializing in product management and engineering, known for driving innovation, building scalable solutions, and leading high-impact technology development initiatives.
As a woman entrepreneur shaping India's digital future, what drives your passion for tech?
As a programmer, I have always been driven by curiosity, building systems that solve real-world problems. Tech gives you the freedom to turn ideas into reality.
I come from Bengaluru, home to India's largest technology hub, where you see innovation every day , from small startups to companies operating at massive scale. That energy is the greatest catalyst for the work I do.
But beyond technology, it is the people with extraordinary minds whose ideas power the world today. That truly energizes me. With India at the frontier of world-class innovation, contributing to that story is what drives me every day.
How do you intend to build the services/expertise of Ziroh Labs to strengthen India’s tech capabilities?
At Ziroh Labs, we have always been driven by one mission: democratising technology. In this era of AI, that mission has never felt more urgent.
India is already one of the largest adopters of AI. Our goal is to take that momentum further, enabling AI for the masses , making it efficient, affordable and practical. We achieve this by working at the foundational level, through relentless innovation and constant experimentation.
Equally important is our team. The people with the right skills and genuine passion for technology are the core to our strategy. They bring drive, curiosity and purpose to work every day.
On Women’s Day, what is the one change you hope to see in larger tech landscape that will empower future women leaders?
Throughout my journey, I have been fortunate to have the right people around me, those who believed in me and gave me the space to show what I am truly capable of. That support shaped me, and I never take it for granted.
From that experience, I believe women's leadership is built on ethics, inclusivity across different phases of life, and the mindset - both within organisations and within ourselves, to step up and prove our capabilities.
But just as important as the ecosystem around us is the confidence within us. I believe we will see more women trusting their voice and leading from the front.
