15 Indian Women-Led Startups That Raised Funding in October 2026
By: Ayushi Dutta, Senior Correspondent
From robots designed for the Moon to on-demand childcare and managed-care hospitals, October 2026 showed the breadth of businesses Indian women founders are building and the growing investor interest behind them. At least 15 Indian startups with a woman founder or co-founder announced funding during the month. Fourteen of these rounds had disclosed amounts, together accounting for more than ₹1,018 crore, while CHOSEN's Series A extension remained undisclosed.
The spread was as significant as the headline figure. Five startups raised pre-seed rounds, two closed seed rounds, one secured pre-Series A funding, two raised Series A capital, and five attracted growth-stage funding across pre-Series B, Series B, Series C and a Series A extension. The five largest disclosed rounds came from Even Healthcare (approximately ₹425 crore), Nat Habit (₹142 crore), Live2.ai (₹130 crore), Troovy (₹100 crore) and MakeO (₹90 crore). Together, these five rounds account for most of the disclosed capital raised during the month.
The businesses also demonstrate how women-led entrepreneurship is expanding beyond conventional consumer categories. The October cohort spans healthcare, artificial intelligence, space technology, medical devices, pet nutrition, childcare, food, fashion, beauty, jewellery and hiring technology.
October further strengthened the growth and expansion pipeline for these companies. Fresh capital is flowing into research and development, manufacturing, hiring, technology infrastructure, retail expansion, healthcare facilities, and international markets. For early-stage founders, cheques ranging from ₹45 lakh to ₹6 crore can provide the runway to validate products, build teams, and establish market fit. For companies further along their journeys, larger rounds can support national and international expansion, strengthen infrastructure and accelerate product development.
The Women Entrepreneurs Review team brings you 15 Indian women-led startups that raised funding in October 2026, arranged by funding stage, with a closer look at their businesses, investors, and plans for growth.

Scooter is an AI-powered sales hiring platform that evaluates candidates through real-world selling scenarios rather than relying solely on CVs. The platform works with more than 50 companies and has a candidate pool of over 10,000 sales professionals. The fresh capital will support product development and help simplify the hiring process for both candidates and employers as the startup expands its technology and market reach.

Ahmedabad-based TailBlaze Longevity, co-founded by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, raised $300,000, approximately ₹2.8 crore, in pre-seed funding, reported on 8 October 2026. US-based venture capital firm Comma Capital led the investment.
The startup focuses on canine nutrition and longevity and has developed FreshTail, a technology for producing shelf-stable fresh meals. It sells through WhatsApp, quick-commerce platforms, and online channels. The funding will support the launch of its HeartPour product, which will initially be offered free to the first 500 dogs, while also helping the company build its Ahmedabad team and reach more pet parents across India.

The company is targeting a doubling of revenue over the next two to three years.
October 2026: Women Founders Keep Capital Flowing
October's funding activity shows women founders building businesses across every major stage of the startup lifecycle, from ₹45 lakh pre-seed rounds to a ₹425 crore-equivalent Series B.
The month's largest investments are particularly notable for their sectoral diversity. Even Healthcare is expanding hospital infrastructure, Nat Habit is scaling an Indian personal-care brand, Live2.ai is taking AI-powered commerce tools to international markets, Troovy is increasing manufacturing and distribution, and MakeO is strengthening its dental technology and clinic network.
At the same time, smaller rounds are laying the foundations for the next generation of businesses. TailBlaze Longevity, AYA, Cosmochute, Maasi and Scooter are using early capital to validate products, build teams and establish their markets.
Taken together, the 15 funding rounds and more than ₹1,018 crore in disclosed capital point to a growing appetite for women-led businesses across both consumer and technology-driven sectors. While funding is only one measure of startup success, the breadth and scale of October's deals demonstrate that women founders are increasingly attracting capital to build, scale, and compete in diverse areas of India's economy.
The Women Entrepreneurs Review Team continues to track the funding journeys of women-led businesses across India's startup ecosystem. Watch this space for the November 2026 edition as we continue to follow funding announcements.
