Chennai-based skincare brand CHOSEN has raised an extension of its Series A funding round from Avnish Chhabria and Saurabh Kapoor, the founders of Wellbeing Nutrition.
Earlier in May 2026, the startup secured $5 million in a Series A round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from BOLD, L’Oréal’s corporate venture capital fund, Alkemi Growth Capital and other angel investors. The company had also raised $1.2 million in an angel funding round in 2024.
CHOSEN will use the latest funds to strengthen its research and development capabilities and expand its product formulation pipeline across topical skincare and nutraceuticals. The company also plans to focus on clinical validation and dermatological research, according to its press release.
