
Austin Plywood Opens Doors to All-Women Office, Strengthening Workplace Diversity

Austin Plywood officially opened its new All–Women Office on June 16, in a bid to empower women and promote a more equal environment. The event, much to the joy of all present, was attended by honorable social worker and educationist Priyadarshini Hakim, whose tireless efforts towards women's empowerment lent gravitas to the occasion. Attending were also Surendra Agarwal, Managing Director, and Nishant Agarwal, Austin Plywood Director, along with senior officials and staff, bound together by a vision of diversity and inclusion.
Priyadarshini welcomed the move, observing that the move to set up an all–women office for a company in a traditionally male industry demonstrates Austin Plywood's commitment to equality between men and women. She welcomed the leadership of Nishant, praising the active participation of women in every level of the company, from most important positions in marketing and finance to the general workforce.
Surendra highlighted that in the current world, where women are leading in diplomacy and defense, empowering them is crucial for actual progress. The new women-driven workplace is a move in that direction, and the company wishes to concentrate future hiring on talented women at all levels. Nishant also mentioned that more than 50 percent of the employees in the company are now women, and the new office bears witness to their faith in the capabilities of women and their potential to lead.
The program ended on a motivational note with general appreciation for Austin Plywood's progressive move. The company once again reiterated its commitment to providing equal opportunities to women and establishing a corporate India benchmark for actual gender inclusion.
