
ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule: All You Need to Know

- The 12-nation list is now complete for the tournament, which will be a historic occasion for women’s cricket
The complete schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has now been finalized after the successful conclusion of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier Tournament held in Nepal. With this announcement, the complete 12-team field has now been confirmed for this historic event in women’s cricket.
The teams of Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland will join local host nation England as the teams that will represent the European region as part of this year’s 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with European countries representing one-third of all teams that will participate in this year’s event.
On June 20, 2026, England and Scotland will meet for the first time in history in any World Cup competitions, (men's or women's), during the First Round Pool.
On June 13, 2026, Ireland and Scotland will meet at Old Trafford; on June 16, 2026, Ireland and England will meet at The Hampshire Bowl as part of a double-header with Current World Champion New Zealand.
The tournament will occur between the 12th June until July 5 in England and Wales, where the qualifying countries will join Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka & West Indies.
"Giving women the ability to participate and to show off their skillsets is something that we very much invest in as well," said ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta when asked about how significant the tournament is regarding ICC's commitment to women's cricket.
