What inspired you to step in the field of image consulting?

From a young age, I developed a deep interest in image consulting, particularly in personal makeup and styling.Sadly, I couldn't pursue this passion due to my family's desire for me to focus on my studies and secure a stable office job. Consequently, I complied with their wishes, completed my education, and worked at a publicly listed company for several years. However, during my fulfilling journey as a stay-at-home mom to my two children over the span of six years, my desire to venture into the image consulting industry resurfaced. To embark on this path, I initially established my business as a beauty consultant, selling beauty and makeup products online and organizing workshops for clients. As my business grew, I realized the need to upscale and expand my services and ventured into the field of brand image consulting.

Tell us about TIB Consultancy. What is the underlying idea behind the venture and its key areas of specialization?

Allow me to introduce TIB Consultancy, an acronym for Total Image Branding. Our venture was established with a clear vision, to assist clients in effectively managing their personal and business brand image. We are dedicated to curating comprehensive image branding strategies that align with our client’s unique personal identities and business goals.

At TIB Consultancy, we specialize in various key areas. Our Brand Image Transformation Coaching Program aims to empower individuals and businesses with the tools and techniques to enhance their overall brand image. Through our Corporate Training and Workshops, we equip organizations with the knowledge and skills to project a cohesive and impactful brand identity. Additionally, we offer an Etiquette Transformation Program to help clients refine their social skills and conduct themselves with grace and professionalism. Lastly, our expertise in Brand Management ensures that our clients' brands are strategically positioned and effectively communicated to their target audience.

In your opinion what are some of the most critical challenges you encounter while working with clients? What steps do you undertake to overcome these roadblocks?

One of the most critical challenges encountered while working with clients is the initial resistance or lack of awareness regarding the importance of creating a strong brand image. Many individuals and companies underestimate the impact a well-crafted image can have on their success and fail to prioritize it.

To address this challenge, we invest time and effort in educating and inspiring clients about the significance of brand image in unlocking new opportunities and achieving greater success. We have also developed a strategic image management system. This system encompasses DISCOVERY, CREATING, MARKETING AND SUSTAINING to curate a strong and authentic brand image for our clients.

How has TIB Consultancy’s growth journey been so far? Tell us about some of the most memorable milestones the company has achieved so far.

TIB Consultancy's growth journey has been nothing short of remarkable. From its humble beginnings as a small firm, the company has experienced exponential growth and achieved numerous memorable milestones. One such milestone is the successful organization of image consultancy training programs for over 1000 individuals including students, working adults, C-level management and Entrepreneurs in Malaysia. This accomplishment signifies TIB Consultancy's impact in shaping the next generation of image consultants, empowering them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in this competitive field. Additionally, TIB Consultancy's commitment to excellence has been evident through its consistent delivery of high-quality services to a diverse clientele.

How do you foresee the image consulting landscape evolving going forward?

As society becomes increasingly visually oriented, the importance of image consultancy will grow exponentially. In this fiercely competitive market, selecting the appropriate image branding partner becomes paramount.
