Kochi Metro's AC Feeder Buses Gain Popularity with Women, Survey Reveals
The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT-C) survey revealed that the AC feeder buses launched by Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) have gained popularity among women commuters. As per the survey findings published by KMRL on Monday, 51 percent of daily commuters on circular feeder bus routes are women.
Assam CM Distributes Seed Capital to 15,000+ Women Entrepreneurs
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma handed over cheques to 15,671 members of self-help groups in Karimganj district under the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA). The programme was held at the Mundamala playground in Sribhumi.

Women's Cricket Hits Milestone with 13.88M Dollar World Cup Prize Pool
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a record prize purse for the Women's ODI World Cup, to be played in India and Sri Lanka, from September 30 to November 2, 2025. The purse of USD 13.88 million is a considerable amount as the purse was USD 3.5 million for the 2022 New Zealand edition.
