The fourth match was held between UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru where DC made their astonishing maiden win defeating the UPW by 9 wickets.
The power players of DC Women, Marizanne Kapp (3/5) and Radha Yadav (4/20) took the crucial wickets of UPW women restricting them to just a score of 119/9 in 20 overs. Both the phenomenal players have shocked the batters with their spinning game. The last wicket was grabbed by Arundhati Reddy (1/16).
In order to chase the target, Delhi Capitals batters showcased their blazing performance on the field, Shafali Verma smashed 64* off 43 balls whereas Meg Lanning added 51 off 43 balls, both the half centuries made a significant impact on the DC team for their victory. Next, to add the final touches, Jemimah Rodrigues scored 4* off 1. The Delhi Capitals team acquired the run chase scoring 123/1 in just 14.3 overs.
The Player of the Match title was presented to all-rounder Marizanne Kapp for her splendid spell of 3/5. Radha Yadav received Electric Striker of the Match and Sintex Six of the Match for her 4 phenomenal sixes.
