DMRC to organise Inclusive Events Commemorating International Women's Day

India and other countries are commemorating International Women’s Day on 8 March 2024 with the theme “Inspire Inclusion” to celebrate women’s achievements and rights, and to renew the commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, embracing diversity and valuing women's differences.
A series of exciting events will be organized by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to celebrate International Women's Day on 8 March 2024. The events will recognize the significant role played by the women commuters in the Delhi Metro system and foster creativity and experiences. The programmes planned to celebrate this occasion include,
Online Experience Sharing, which is an online platform where women can share their life experiences as commuters in Delhi Metro at the official website of DMRC. Women can share their stories from 26 February to 29 February 2024. Women interested can participate by sharing their stories by following the instructions mentioned.
Live Theme-Based Art Competition where women can showcase their passion for art. It will be an art competition organized live on 29 February from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Women who have registered on the official website from 25 to 27 February can participate in the competition at three different metro stations namely Hauz Khas, Rajiv Chowk, and Vishwavidyalaya.
