By: WE Staff | Monday, 26 February 2024
In order to offer the female personnel crucial hygiene products, the Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA) and the Indian Navy have collaborated with Pee Safe which is a personal hygiene and wellness brand. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the wellness drive for "Women in White" for which the Indian Navy and the NWWA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will proceed with this partnership.
To commemorate this initiative, Pee Safe kits were distributed to the female officers and Agniveers positioned in Delhi in honor of the 38th NWWA Diwas. In addition to this, officials have planned to offer these kits to each command having female officers. The kit comprises the necessities that women require for their personal hygiene and menstruation including,
Menstruation Cup: The easy and environment-friendly intimate hygiene product replacing the discomfort of sanitary napkins.
Sterilizing Container: This container assures the safety and good hygiene of the menstruation cup.
Menstrual Cup Steam Sterilizer: Enables complete decontamination and cleaning.
Menstrual Cup Wash: Designed specifically to keep the menstrual cup clean.
Intimate hygiene is the most challenging yet crucial part for women in uniform. They often face physical demands that lack access to restroom facilities that hinder their personal hygiene causing discomfort. Using these environment-friendly kits will act as a supportive measure.
