Swiggy Names Nandita Sinha as Instamart CEO

Swiggy’s quick commerce platform, Instamart, has announced the appointment of Nandita Sinha as its Chief Executive Officer, effective 03 August, succeeding Amitesh Jha.

Over his tenure, he has been instrumental in scaling Instamart through a critical growth phase, building a strong, high-performing culture, and leaving the organization in a solid, well-run state. Speaking about her new role, Nandita, CEO, Instamart, said, "I have long admired what the team at Instamart has built. She will oversee Instamart's next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding its assortment strategy, improving profitability, strengthening customer experience and driving operational excellence.
This is the third senior-level exit at Instamart in recent months, following the departures of chief operating officer (COO) Ankit Jain and chief business officer (CBO) Hari Kumar. On Tuesday, Jain joined listed beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa to lead its quick commerce vertical, Nykaa Now.
Nandita joins Instamart after serving as CEO of Myntra, where she led the fashion ecommerce platform through a period of sustained growth, strengthening its market leadership while achieving EBITDA profitability in 2024.
With more than two decades of experience, Nandita has held leadership roles across the consumer internet, ecommerce and FMCG sectors. Over the course of her career, she has worked with companies including Flipkart, Britannia Industries and Hindustan Unilever, building and scaling consumer-focused businesses.
