Bengaluru-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) athleisure brand BlissClub has raised ₹160 crore in a fresh funding round led by Singularity AMC, reinforcing investor confidence in India's fast-growing activewear market. The latest investment will enable the women-led startup to expand its offline retail presence, strengthen product development, and accelerate its next phase of growth.
Key Highlights:
- BlissClub raises ₹160 crore in a funding round led by Singularity AMC
- The capital will support retail expansion, product innovation, and category growth
- Founder Minu Margeret and Meesho co-founder Vidit Aatrey also invested in the round
The funding round also witnessed significant personal investments from BlissClub founder Minu Margeret and her partner, Meesho co-founder Vidit Aatrey. Existing investors Elevation Capital and Eight Roads Ventures participated in the round as well, reaffirming their commitment by increasing their investments in the company.
Founded in 2020, BlissClub was launched with the mission of creating activewear specifically designed for Indian women, addressing a gap left by both domestic and international brands. Since then, the company has evolved from an online-first startup into a leading omnichannel fashion brand with a growing presence across digital platforms and physical retail stores.
The company plans to deploy the newly raised capital to expand its retail footprint, enhance research and development, diversify its product portfolio, and strengthen operational capabilities. It also intends to increase hiring as it prepares for sustained long-term growth. BlissClub currently operates more than 40 retail stores across India and recently entered the menswear segment, marking its first expansion beyond women's activewear.
Commenting on the fundraise, Minu Margeret said the company believes active lifestyle apparel has become an essential part of everyday wardrobes. She noted that BlissClub's investment in product research, sourcing capabilities and innovation positions the brand strongly within the rapidly expanding athleisure market. According to Minu, the fresh capital will help the company deepen product innovation, broaden its offline presence and reach more consumers nationwide.
The funding comes as BlissClub continues to report strong business performance. The company has recorded revenue growth of more than 60 per cent year-on-year over the past two years, supported by a loyal customer community built through product quality, digital engagement, events and brand-led experiences. It has also crossed an annualised revenue run rate of ₹250 crore, demonstrating sustained momentum in India's premium comfort-wear and athleisure segment.
Financially, BlissClub generated revenue of ₹135 crore in FY25, compared with ₹92 crore in FY24. During the same period, it significantly reduced its losses from ₹44 crore to ₹20 crore, reflecting improving operational efficiency alongside rapid business expansion.
Sandeep Bapat, Co-Chief Investment Officer at Singularity AMC, praised the company's disciplined approach to building a differentiated consumer brand. He said BlissClub has established a strong position in India's growing comfort-wear and activewear categories and added that the latest funding would support expansion across both online and offline channels.
Since its first funding round in 2021, BlissClub has raised approximately $21.6 million from investors, including Elevation Capital and Eight Roads Ventures. The latest investment further strengthens its financial position as it seeks to become a category-defining Indian consumer brand.
