FTCCI to Host Women's Empowerment Conference in Hyderabad

The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) will host a full-day International Conference on “Women Empowerment – Driving Inclusive Growth and Leadership” on September 10, 2026, at Cyber Gardens, Hitec City, and Hyderabad.

Supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, the conference will bring together policymakers, women entrepreneurs, MSME representatives, industry leaders, investors, academicians and global experts. Discussions will focus on strengthening women's leadership and expanding their role in economic growth.

The event is being organized in partnership with organizations including WE-Hub, T-Hub, ALEAP, COWE, SERP, SIDBI, Apollo Pharmacy and Apollo 24/7, along with other institutional partners supporting women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship.

The conference will be closely followed by the FTCCI leadership team, headed by Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Vice President; K K Maheshwari, President and Mr. Srinivas Garimella, Senior Vice President.

The conference takes place at a moment when women-led businesses, technology, entrepreneurship and workplaces are proving to be key factors in India's economic revolution. The conversations will be centered on building better ecosystems for women entrepreneurs, increasing market and finance access, speeding up digital transformation, fostering stronger global partnerships, and building future-ready women leaders.

It has an outstanding roster of 15 renowned speakers from India and abroad from the Government, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Technology, Finance, Development and Social Impact segment.

The prominent speakers include Shikha Goel, IPS, Principal Secretary to Government & Director, Telangana Cyber Security Bureau, Divya Devarajan, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Angela Heinsenn, Founder & CEO, Lawfirm Kanzlei an der Luehe, Germany, Hossam Hawas, Regional Director – Middle East, East Africa & Asia, Sahara Group UK and Ms. Nvard Chalikyan, Associate Partner, Asteron Partners Private Equity Company, Armenia.

The conference will discuss the possibilities of women entering leadership, creating enterprises, innovating, investing and taking decisions as a result of empowerment.

The conference will address women's economic empowerment and inclusive growth through women entrepreneurs and MSMEs growth, access to finance, markets and investments, digital transformation and emerging technologies, women's leadership and decision making process, inclusive workplaces and enabling ecosystem, rural women and entrepreneur at grass roots level and promoting global partnerships and international opportunities, future ready skills and resilience and the role of technology in enhancing women's economic empowerment and inclusive growth.

The conference also aims to build fruitful linkages between women entrepreneurs, industry, government and international partners and highlight avenues for cooperation and inter-sector partnerships.

Dr. Tasneem Shariff, Chair, Women Empowerment Committee, FTCCI, is leading the conference initiative. Speaking on the significance of the program, Dr. Tasneem Shariff said empowering women is no longer only a social imperative but an essential economic strategy. “When women have access to opportunity, capital, technology, markets and leadership platforms, the impact extends far beyond individual businesses.
