Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir inaugurated the CRPF Women Bike Expedition 'Yashasvini' with great pomp and enthusiasm in Srinagar. This traveling over 2134 kilometers will end in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, on October 31. This also coincides with the birth anniversary of the revered statesman and unifier of modern India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The expedition named 'Yashasvini,' celebrates the unwavering spirit, resilience, and exceptional contributions of women in various spheres. It serves as a powerful symbol of women's empowerment and their tireless commitment to the nation's integrity and sovereignty. Veeranganas of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) embody this spirit as they embark on this inspiring adventure.

Lieutenant Governor Sinha paid tribute to the extraordinary bravery, determination, and courage displayed by the Veeranganas of CRPF, especially in challenging situations where they have safeguarded the nation's interests.

He highlighted the expedition's significance, stating that it symbolizes the unbeatable spirit of 'Nari Shakti' or women's power. These women represent not only sacrifice but also self-confidence, setting milestones in diverse fields through their guts, determination, and dedication.

Furthermore, Lieutenant Governor Sinha underscored the administration's dedication to promoting women-led development and empowering women to take the lead in Jammu and Kashmir's growth journey. He reaffirmed that the empowerment and full rights of 'Nari Shakti' were non-negotiable commitments and topmost priorities of the J&K Administration.

He applauded the achievements of daughters in academics, research, innovation, and the business sector, emphasizing their role in fulfilling the dreams of an aspirational society. He noted that 'Nari Shakti' was instrumental in Jammu and Kashmir's developmental journey and its contributions were significant in shaping a more developed India.

The cross-country bike expedition is a collaborative effort between the CRPF and the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It aims to celebrate the power of women across the nation. During their journey, teams from Srinagar, Shillong, and Kanyakumari will engage with various target groups as part of the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" (BBBP) initiative, including school children, college girls, women self-help groups, NCC cadets, children of Child Care Institutions (CCIs), NYKS members, and adolescent girls and boys. This interaction aims to inspire and encourage these groups, fostering empowerment and gender equality.

The flag-off event witnessed stunning performances by the Veeranganas of Valley QAT and the Pipe Band of CRPF, adding a vibrant touch to the occasion. As the Veeranganas embark on their incredible journey, they embody the strength, determination, and unwavering commitment of women to creating a more equitable and inclusive society.
