Indian Athlete Vithya Ramraj Wins Bronze in Women's 400m Hurdles at Asian Games

Indian athlete Vithya Ramraj secured a commendable bronze medal in the women's 400m hurdles at the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China. Despite facing tough competition, the 25-year-old athlete delivered a solid performance with a timing of 55.68 seconds.
The gold medal went to China's Jaidie Mo, who achieved a season-best time of 55.01 seconds, while Bahrain's Oluwakemi Mujidat Adekoya claimed the silver with a game record of 54.45 seconds.
Vithya Ramraj's achievement holds special significance as she had earlier equalled the iconic national record of P.T. Usha in the 400m hurdles, a record that had stood unbroken since 1984. This exceptional feat not only highlights her talent but also pays homage to one of India's legendary athletes.
