To honour the Government of India's Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, Aakash BYJU'S, the national leader in test preparation services, is organising a significant drive towards inclusivity and empowerment of girl students in the realm of private coaching for higher education through "Education for All," a national project to provide free NEET and JEE coaching and scholarships to nearly 2,000 Class VII-XII students from disadvantaged families, especially girls.
The main event was held at the JW Marriott Hotel, Aerocity in Delhi, where it was attended by Mr. JC Chaudhry, Chairman; Mr. Aakash Chaudhry, Managing Director; Mr. Abhishek Maheshwari, CEO, Aakash BYJU'S; and other company representatives. The launch took place simultaneously at 45 locations across India.
Alumni of Aakash BYJU'S who joined the institution through ANTHE also attended the event. Trophies and bouquets were presented to the alumni in recognition of their academic success.
According to the plan, all selected students would show up for the Aakash BYJU'S National Talent Hunt Exam - 2022 (ANTHE 2022), the institute's premier scholarship test, which will be offered both online and offline from November 5 through 13, 2022, across the nation. Based on unique criteria, the top 2,000 students will receive free tutoring for the most sought-after NEET and IIT-JEE coaching programmes at Aakash BYJU.
Aakash will collaborate with a few NGOs to identify the students who will benefit, and these NGOs will be able to suggest students who belong to economically disadvantaged groups, are solely girls, or are parents (mother).
The largest network of coaching centres in India, with about 285+ centres, belongs to Aakash BYJU'S. On average, 9 lessons are held each centre.
In addition to the standard ANTHE scholarships, there are scholarships offered through the Education for All initiative. The 13th edition of ANTHE, which will be held in 2022, will continue to reward outstanding students with up to 100% scholarships and cash awards. Additionally, 5 youngsters will each receive a complimentary trip to NASA with a parent. Over 33 lakh students have received scholarships from ANTHE since its start.
The ANTHE test lasts one hour. On all test days, ANTHE will be held online from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On November 6 and 13, 2022, the offline exam will take place at all 285+ Aakash BYJU'S centres nationwide in two sessions from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Students can select a comfortable one-hour time window.
There are 90 total points for ANTHE. It consists of 35 multiple-choice questions based on the students' desired streams and grade. The questions will be drawn from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Mental Abilities for students in classes VII through IX.
The exam covers Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mental Ability for class X pupils wanting to medical school, whereas Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Mental Ability are covered for the same class' engineering aspirants. Additionally, questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology will be asked of class XI–XII students aiming for the NEET, as well as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering candidates.
