Highlight some of the most pivotal moments in your professional journey that have significantly shaped your career.

My professional journey began in the BPO sector 24 years ago. It demanded me to refine my voice, my accent, and build the confidence to communicate effectively with international clients. I honed my communication skills, built confidence, and also learnt the art of influence. I was fortunate enough to have a leader who led by example and instilled in me the core principles I live by today. Resilience, taking initiative and commitment to excel in each task became my identity. It taught me how value-driven leadership can shape not just teams, but individuals too.

I was fortunate enough to gain end-to-end experience in executive education through a partnership venture that gave me clarity and conviction to start my own business. In 2017, I founded Execore Spectrum, rooted in industry experience, research, and a deep commitment to leadership development.

Take us through your expansive professional journey and some of the most impactful professional experiences.

Over the years, I have gained experience by working across multiple industries and functions, from sales and training, to operations and people management. My professional journey has allowed me to wear multiple hats, that of an entrepreneur, consultant, trainer, and coach, each complementing and enriching the other. Each role was a challenge and taught me something unique, but it is the customer-facing experiences that have had the biggest impact on me. Engaging directly with clients not only sharpened my business thinking but also sparked ideas, solutions, and innovation.

The opportunity to surpass a previous goal always drove me to push further. I strive to keep innovation alive, constantly drawing inspiration form customer feedback to evolve offerings and enhance engagement. This conscious practice has moved in the direction towards continuous improvement, and largely shaped my professional approach too.

Don’t just rest on your past laurels, rather emphasize the importance of continued efforts to sustain success

What led you to establish Execore Spectrum? What is the underlying idea and vision behind the venture?

Over the years, I realised a challenge (in which I saw an opportunity) in the learning and development industry, that a majority of the players emphasised on providing technical training. I took a different route and envisioned making quality executive education accessible and affordable to small and mid-sized businesses.

The global pandemic brought with it challenges and it further pushed us to evolve and expand into change management, helping clients navigate disruptions with confidence. At the heart of it all is a simple goal, which is to help clients build more productive, empowered, and fulfilling workplaces.

Which methodologies or strategies do you use to facilitate change management in client organizations?

We customize our process based on the outcomes that the clients envision. My dual perspective, as a Hogan-certified expert and a Belbin Team Roles consultant, helps me navigate both the business metrics and the team dynamics that underpin real change.

While training clients, I create learning environments that go beyond instruction. The goal is to help them unlock their potential and walk away more self-aware and future-ready.

More than tools or models, the key to success lies in helping clients recognize the need for change, and guiding them to engage with challenges courageously and constructively. What makes the biggest difference, though, is helping clients move past resistance-toward acceptance, engagement, and real transformation.

When I coach, I listen deeply, work with their strengths, and support them in navigating personal and professional roadblocks. Success, for me, is co-created, ie. tailored, not templated.

What business challenges do you encounter while working with client organizations? How are you navigating through these roadblocks successfully?

One of the most consistent challenges I encounter in client organizations is not tools or timelines, but mindsets. Leadership buy-in can make or break a change management effort. Lack of active involvement at the leadership level often leads to delays, budgets overruns and disillusionment with the process itself.

At its core, change management is about people, and it starts with wholehearted commitment from the top. The real issue is not the framework, it is the absence of genuine participation from those expected to lead by example, requiring visible, authentic commitment from leadership.

Which professional milestones are the most special to you? What has been your ‘success mantra’ as a Corporate Training Leader?

From early promotions that came through grit, to being invited to co-build a business by a former manager who’d challenged me professionally, each milestone has strengthened my resolve. Founding Execore Spectrum was perhaps the most rewarding step in the professional journey. Initially, I was unsure if the idea would hold, but growth during the very first year was remarkable and spoke volumes.

What guides me is a deep belief in growth through resilience and generosity. I truly believe the more we give, the more we grow. At Execore Spectrum, we reflect that spirit by pushing ourselves and our clients beyond comfort zones to create transformative outcomes.
