  • The European Vietnamese Businesswomen's Association was officially founded on April 5
  • The program seeks to unite Vietnamese women business owners in Europe
  • Delegates from women's organizations in ten European nations participated in the conference

On April 5, Berlin was the host for the official launch of the Vietnam Businesswomen Association in Europe (VBWE) through its inauguration ceremony.

This new association represents a further developed attempt at creating relationships and work jointly between the Vietnamese women entrepreneurs living and working across Europe.

The Union of Vietnamese Women's Associations in Germany and the inaugural Vietnamese Festival in Europe partnered together to create the venue for launching this association in Berlin.

The German Vietnamese Women's Association was joined by representatives from 10 different European countries at this association's launching event.

According to Trinh Thi Mui, who is the president of the Vietnamese Women's Associations in Germany, this association was created to provide opportunities for women entrepreneurs to work collaboratively and build business partnerships in Europe.

She encouraged all women entrepreneurs, no matter the type of business or size, to join the VBWE to help grow each other’s companies.

The VBWE has a management board made up of Vietnamese women entrepreneurs from all over Europe who have been successful in running businesses, have participated in community organizations, and have been involved in transnational projects in Europe from 2025 through 2028.

Voluntary work, non-profit operations, transparency, and sustainability will be the core working principles of the company.

The goals of the company include creating opportunities for experience exchange, mutual support, doing business together, branding together, and the promotion of women’s empowerment in modern Vietnam.

According to Nguyen Dac Thanh from the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany, the formation of the association represents the increased involvement of Vietnamese women in entrepreneurial activities.

The association is supposed to contribute to the strengthening of ties between the companies from Vietnam and European countries.

The culture festival, which was conducted together with the formation of the association, was referred to as the chance to demonstrate Vietnamese culture to the European public and attract more charitable activities within the Vietnamese community in Europe.
