India’s one of the largest business magazine, Business Today, has declared and felicitated the Most Powerful business women in India. The awards were distributed among 31 women business leaders who have created an impact and have achieved success in corporate India. Prosenjit Datta, Editor, Business Today in his welcome address, said, "The number of women achievers going up in different sectors is extremely heartening. And yet, as I look at the overall statistics of women in the workplace, it reminds me how much journey women need to traverse. Despite the increase in the numbers of women breaking the glass ceiling, their representation in the overall workplace is growing at a sluggish pace."
At present, the women of our country, put their effort and have moved a long path from being just a homemaker. Being the top heads of universal business giants to founders and co-founders to some the most ground-breaking start-ups, women have created a bench mark almost worldwide. But the journey of each powerful woman in India to the way of fame was not easy. They have challenges against several depressing and harmful notions and finally proved their courage. Indian women are capable of managing their household and meeting the deadlines at work place as powerful women entrepreneurs. In a recent study on successful women entrepreneurs in India revealed that women entrepreneurs from India are achieving majority wealth than women in other countries. Female entrepreneurs are quickly fetching a force to consider with in the business globe and are not only engaged in enterprises for survival but to gratify their internal desire of creativity and to confirm their capabilities.

- Ashwini Ashokan: She is the Founder and CEO of Mad Street Den which is an AI platform. This helps users to financial expressions and captures smiles through their Smartphone cameras. Her career started by heading a mobile innovation team in Silicon Valley.
- Debadutta Upadhyaya: She is the founder of Timesaver, an online portal providing homemakers and working women to find dependable people to assist with personal works. She had previously worked with Yahoo India before venturing Timesaver.
