VentureNest Hosts PRERNA 2.0 Conclave for International Women's Day

- Leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy-makers gathered at the event
To mark International Women’s Day, VentureNest (the Business Incubator Association of CGC University, Mohali) hosted an event known as Prerna 2.0 - an International Women’s Day Conclave.
This was a highly successful event designed to celebrate the strengths, leadership, resilience and accomplishments of women in various areas.
It provided an interactive platform for leaders, entrepreneurs, decision makers and innovators to come together to exchange ideas, experience and engage in meaningful dialogue regarding women's empowerment and leadership.
PRERNA Series 2 was organized as a successful blend of innovative ideas, inspirational speakers and networking opportunities providing women leaders with the ability to collaborate, grow their businesses and create leadership roles through engaging sessions including, keynote speakers, panel discussions, pitch presentations by female entrepreneurs and networking with others for the purpose of developing collaborative leadership roles.
Some of the highlights from PRERNA Series 2 include; “Scale Her Pitch": A showcase for women owned business to “pitch" their business concepts to an experienced panel of judges/investors (including funders, entrepreneurs and women who have received investment); "Panel Dialogue: Catalysing Women-Led Growth Through Policy, Capital & Collaboration" & "Panel Discussion: From the Boardroom to the Breakthrough - Women Redefining Leadership Across All Sectors".
Each component of the event was designed to focus on how women's roles as leaders and entrepreneurs are changing.
The "Leadership Roundtable: Converging Sectors to Accelerate Women-Led Transformation" was designed around networking and collaboration as a means to achieve success and accelerate change through the acceleration of support for women-led businesses.
In addition, the conference also had master classes like "FoundHER Fireside Chat: Crore Dreams & Shark Tank Deals" in which women achievers and women entrepreneurs who had successfully run their businesses shared their stories, and "Pink Policy Dialogue: Towards an Equal World" in which speakers discussed the policies and institutions required to achieve an equitable society.
