Envista Holdings Corporation has appointed Varsha Jagwani as Head of Human Resources – India, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand its presence in one of its key strategic markets. Based in Mumbai, she will lead the company’s people strategy across India, working closely with business leaders to enhance organisational capability, develop leadership pipelines and build a high-performance workplace culture.

With nearly two decades of experience in human resources, Varsha has built expertise across the healthcare, manufacturing and technology sectors. Her appointment reflects Envista’s focus on strengthening its workforce, accelerating organisational growth and fostering an inclusive work environment that supports long-term business objectives.

Before joining Envista, Varsha served as Head of HR – India at Essity, where she led the human resources strategy for the company’s commercial operations and manufacturing facility in Goa. During her tenure, she aligned people initiatives with business priorities by overseeing workforce planning, succession management, leadership development, organisational development, employee engagement and performance management. She also played a significant role in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives while supporting talent development across commercial and manufacturing functions.

Earlier, Varsha spent more than seven years at BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), where she progressed through several HR leadership roles. She partnered with business leaders on talent management, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and business transformation, while contributing to employee engagement and leadership development initiatives within the healthcare technology sector.

She also worked for nearly six years at Wipro Infotech as an HR Business Partner, supporting the BFSI and Enterprise verticals. In this role, she led programmes focused on employee engagement, performance management, talent retention and leadership support. Varsha began her professional journey with Embee Software Pvt. Ltd., gaining experience in recruitment, HR operations, employee lifecycle management and training coordination.

Throughout her career, Varsha has developed expertise in HR strategy, business partnering, talent management, succession planning, organisational development, culture transformation, change management and capability building. Her experience spans both commercial and manufacturing environments, enabling her to lead people-focused initiatives that align with business growth.

At Envista, Varsha will partner with the India leadership team to strengthen organisational capability while fostering a culture centred on performance, collaboration and continuous learning. She is also expected to support the company’s efforts to build future-ready talent and reinforce leadership development across its India operations.
