Indian Army Launches Tailoring Training for Women in Gurez Valley

Continuing its endeavor for women empowerment and self-reliance in the bordering areas, the Indian Army's Rana Battalion has started a six-month-long tailoring training program for girls in Bagtore, a remotely located village in the Gurez Valley of Bandipora district.

The program was inaugurated by the Commanding Officer of the Rana Battalion in the presence of local senior citizens and other community members.

SBICAP Securities Ltd, a segment of SBI, announced to the stock exchanges on Tuesday that Bhuvaneshwari A. would take over as Managing Director and CEO on November 1, 2025.
