Tata Motors Gifts Tata Sierra to Women's Cricket Team

- Tata Motors celebrated the Indian women's cricket team after their victory in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025
- Each of them received a Tata Sierra as a symbol of appreciation
- The felicitation ceremony was attended by the whole World Cup-winning squad
Tata Motors presented the Indian Women’s Cricket Team with a Tata Sierra for each of them after they were victorious in the ICC Women’s World Cup held in 2025.
The team attended a felicitation ceremony where they were photographed with N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPVL) and Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TMPVL, when they received their new Tata Sierra vehicles.
According to Tata Motors’ statement on Thursday, November 6, they wanted to honour the team for their accomplishments on the International level. The company confirmed that they would be awarding the players with the top of the line version of the Tata Sierra.
The Women’s World Cup winning team won the title of champion by beating South Africa in the final match that took place on Sunday, November 2nd at Navi Mumbai, India by a total of 52 runs. Shafali Verma contributed to the team’s success with a score of 87 runs and Deepti Sharma contributed 5 wickets taken.
As a result of this win, Harmanpreet Kaur has now become the Third Indian captain ever to win the 50 Over World Cup. She now joins Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni.
