PepsiCo India has appointed Tanvi Swami as the Marketing Director for its flagship beverage brands, Pepsi, 7UP and Mirinda, reinforcing its leadership team as competition in India's beverage sector continues to intensify. Tanvi announced her appointment on LinkedIn on July 28, 2026, expressing enthusiasm about joining the company and leading some of the country's most recognised beverage brands.

In her new role, Tanvi will oversee marketing strategy for PepsiCo India's core beverage portfolio, focusing on strengthening brand equity, deepening consumer engagement, driving innovation and accelerating business growth. Her appointment reflects PepsiCo's continued emphasis on building stronger consumer connections through innovative and youth-focused marketing initiatives.

Tanvi brings more than 15 years of experience spanning fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food and beverages, premium spirits and advertising. Before joining PepsiCo, she served as Marketing Director at Pernod Ricard, where she led the company's premium spirits portfolio. During her tenure, she managed globally recognised brands including Chivas Regal, The Glenlivet, Beefeater, Monkey 47, Malfy, KI NO BI and Lillet. She was responsible for integrated marketing campaigns, portfolio expansion, premium brand positioning and new product launches.

Prior to Pernod Ricard, Tanvi spent over seven years at Kellogg Company, holding leadership positions across India and international markets. She managed well-known cereal brands such as Chocos, Muesli, Granola and Special K, while also leading brand and innovation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa region. Her achievements at Kellogg included establishing the Granola business and increasing Muesli's market share from five per cent to 15 per cent. These contributions earned her the prestigious W.K. Kellogg Global Award for brand innovation.

Tanvi began her career at Britannia Industries in sales before transitioning into brand management, where she worked on popular brands including Tiger biscuits, 50-50 and Little Hearts. Earlier, she also gained valuable experience in advertising through roles at JWT and Leo Burnett, developing expertise in consumer insights, integrated campaigns and strategic brand communication.

An alumna of the Indian School of Business, Tanvi holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance. She has also been recognised as an Economic Times Young Leader in 2018, placing among the top 0.2 per cent of more than 27,000 corporate nominees.

With her extensive experience in FMCG and premium-brand marketing, Tanvi is expected to play a key role in strengthening PepsiCo India's beverage portfolio. Industry observers believe her expertise in consumer-centric campaigns, portfolio innovation and premium brand building could help the company further enhance the market position of Pepsi, 7UP and Mirinda while competing more aggressively in India's rapidly evolving soft drinks market.
