  • RCB and Himalaya Wellness launch 1derwoman Academy
  • Mentorship and skill-building delivered through an interactive digital platform
  • Nationwide enrolment opens with 100 scholarships and grassroots tournaments

Himalaya Wellness has joined hands with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women’s team to introduce the 1derwoman Academy. This digital platform offers support to aspiring cricketers’ access to learning tools, role models, and financial assistance.

Launched in conjunction with National Girl Child Day, the program builds on offering young girls a comprehensive ecosystem and meaningful access to RCB women players. An interactive chatbot is designed to replicate a mentorship-style conversation.  It offers motivation, cricket insights, and personalised engagement from team members.

Himalaya wellness reiterated that the digital program is open for enrolment to girls across India, offering 100 scholarships opportunities. The initiative aims to equip young participants with practical learning resources and confidence-building support.

Ragini Hariharan, marketing director – beauty & personal care, Himalaya Wellness, said, “1derwoman was created to ensure young girls don’t just admire role models from afar, but feel supported in their own journeys. The Academy allows us to scale this intent by combining technology with credible voices, making mentorship accessible, relatable and relevant for today’s generation.”

Beyond the digital academy, the wellness brand partnered with the Female Cricket Academy to host a grassroots cricket tournament. The initiative drew over 200 registrations, with 25 payers selected for an in-person interaction with the RCB Women’s team.

Reflecting on the launch, Rajesh Krishnamurthy, business director – consumer products division, Himalaya Wellness Company, said, “At Himalaya, our approach is anchored in building purposeful initiatives that deliver measurable impact. With the launch of the 1derwoman Academy, we are strengthening this commitment by moving beyond inspiration to action, building a structured pathway that supports learning, confidence, and long-term growth for young girls.”
