Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), in collaboration with Sirona, India's leading FEMTECH brand, has taken a momentous step towards championing women's health and comfort during travel. With the introduction of multi-product feminine hygiene vending machines at Delhi Airport, women travelers now have unparalleled accessibility to essential hygiene products, reaffirming the airport's commitment to empowering women on the go.
The 12 state-of-the-art vending machines have been strategically installed outside all women's restrooms at Terminal 2 (T2), offering a comprehensive selection of hygiene products catered to the diverse needs of women. From menstrual cups to tampons, sanitary pads to intimate wipes, and more, women can now embark on their journeys with peace of mind, knowing that their hygiene needs are well taken care of.
The CEO of DIAL, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, expressed his pleasure in the partnership while restating DIAL's commitment to improving the overall airport experience for female travelers. This partnership with Sirona showcases the airport's commitment to promoting women's health and hygiene, aligning perfectly with its vision of providing world-class facilities and services.
Deep Bajaj, Co-Founder & CEO of Sirona, shared his delight about the collaboration, underlining Sirona's mission of empowering women and facilitating confident, comfortable lives. Through these innovative vending machines, Sirona aims to make feminine hygiene products easily accessible to women wherever they may be, setting a precedent for other high-footfall locations to prioritize women's hygiene and well-being.
This pioneering initiative marks the beginning of a transformative journey towards enhanced women's hygiene accessibility at Delhi Airport. DIAL plans to extend this convenience to Terminal 3 and Terminal 1 shortly, ensuring that women travelers across the entire airport can benefit from this empowering initiative.
Delhi Airport's commitment to women travelers doesn't stop at the vending machines. The airport also offers baby changing rooms and feeding rooms at all terminals, catering to the needs of mothers traveling with infants. Additionally, Terminal 3 offers a priority buggy service for expectant mothers, further boosting their travel experience.
By prioritizing women's hygiene and comfort, Delhi Airport sets an example for other locations to follow suit. With the convenience and accessibility provided by these vending machines, women travelers can now travel with the assurance that their well-being is at the forefront of Delhi Airport's vision. This collaborative effort between DIAL and Sirona signifies a transformative milestone, empowering women and elevating their travel experience.
