  • NeoGrowth made disbursals of ₹1,680 crore to more than 9,000 women entrepreneurs in India during the last three years
  • Women entrepreneurs contributed around 25% of NeoGrowth's disbursals in FY 2024-25
  • Up to 80% of the women customers were first-generation entrepreneurs

NeoGrowth has announced that it has paid out ₹1,680 crore to over 9,000 women entrepreneurs across India in the past three years.

Women-owned businesses captured nearly 25 percent of value of disbursals during FY 2024–25, of which 80 percent were first-generation entrepreneurs. Financial support to these entrepreneurs enabled them to grow operations, embrace technology, and generate employment, the report stated.

Tier II cities contributed to 27 percent of the loans, meaning better outreach beyond metros and support for regional economies.

The company clarified that its model combines inclusive lending practices, technology-driven underwriting, and responsibility-driven governance in order to increase women's access to credit.

Overall "Impact Approach" emphasizes empowering disadvantaged groups, increasing sustainability, and generating jobs.

NeoGrowth's efforts are directed towards six United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), of which are Gender Equality and Decent Work and Economic Growth.

It offers livelihood opportunities to women belonging to marginalized groups through its CSR initiative NeoShakti, which is operated in collaboration with the Times Foundation and Goonj.

Started by Dhruv and Piyush Khaitan a decade back, NeoGrowth is an NBFC-ML that provides tech-enabled loans with daily repayment options. Currently serving 1.5 lakh businesses across 75+ segments in 25+ locations, the company facilitates MSME growth and financial inclusion.
