Maya Bou Ajram has been named Chief Strategy Officer at Publicis Media Middle East, the company revealed.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Maya will be in charge of steering the network's strategy throughout the Middle East, with a strong emphasis on client development, cross-channel planning, and business transformation projects.

Maya was a member of Publicis Media Middle East for over six years before moving to UM MENAT where she was the General Manager for the UAE. Earlier, Maya was the agency's Deputy General Manager.

“Her depth of experience, client-first mindset, and proven ability to lead high-performing teams make her the ideal person to drive our strategy agenda forward. She started her work at OMD UAE as a Media Planner where she was responsible for managing PepsiCo and Kellogg's accounts throughout the GCC region. The advertising industry really does have a thing for a full-circle story. You start with cola brands and eventually, you are the one that is deciding the regional strategy. It's a career trajectory that people just can't resist.

Maya is also one of the industry personalities who made it to various lists such as Communicate's 40 Under 40 and the 2025 Women to Watch honours.
