Maria M Named CFO & WTD at Schneider Electric President Systems

Maria Myloth has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Whole-Time Director of Schneider Electric President Systems Limited. This appointment comes after Maria’s over two-decade-long experience in the domain of finance and business transformation.

In this newly appointed role, Maria will be responsible for overseeing Schneider Electric’s growth strategy in India, while at the same time enhancing the company’s footprint in energy technology and digital innovation.

Maria has been associated with Schneider Electric for over 13 years. During this period, she has taken up various senior roles within the organization, specifically within the finance and technology domain. Recently, she worked as the Director-Finance Business Partner.

Here, she worked closely with the Global Chief Technology Organization to effectively oversee technology investments while at the same time working towards finance performance transformation initiatives that are aligned with future business requirements.

As the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) of a division, she was responsible for global planning & analysis activities, including forecasting, performance analysis, and finance transformation projects across North America, Europe, and Asia regions. She was also involved in strengthening financial governance structures as well as performance measurement systems.

Maria has also worked as the Finance Controller of Schneider Electric’s India Research & Development Center, which is the largest R&D unit of the company. She has been responsible for managing complex financial activities, including transfer pricing, taxation, and compliance, for a large global engineering workforce.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Maria has worked with EXL Services and SOUKYA Holistic Health Centre International, where she has gained considerable expertise in internal audit, compliance, and financial control.

She has started her career as an accounting and financial management professional, who has helped her build a strong foundation as a finance leadership expert.

Maria, with her rich industry experience of working as an FP&A expert, financial controller, and strategic investment partner, will surely prove beneficial for Schneider Electric as it undergoes its transformation journey.
