The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India marked International Women's Day with an awards ceremony at the Governor's House in Lok Bhavan Dehradun, where Shikha Bhasin received an award presented by Lt Gen Gurmit Singh.
This award recognizes Shikha's success as an entrepreneur in the home decor business through her company, Madihah Homes, and honors her efforts as a designer and craftsman in providing beautiful modern living spaces.
This event aims to acknowledge and celebrate successful female entrepreneurs from various industries and encourage women in different professions to come together to celebrate the many accomplishments that have been achieved in many different industries.
The award was meant to be part of the continuing effort to create a company that emphasizes creativity and purpose.
“I am thankful for the opportunity to receive this award, and I hope to use this opportunity to continue doing what I love in the design and entrepreneurship arena,” stated Shikha.
The event recognized female leaders across various sectors and emphasized the importance that women play in innovation as well as professional development within their respective careers.
