Indian Women defeat Bangladesh with 7 Wickets at T20I Series

In the third T20 International match against Bangladesh, the Indian women's cricket team outshined the hosts, securing a win by 7 wickets at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. With two games remaining, India defeated Bangladesh consecutively in three matches, 3-0 leading the five-match T20I series.
The Indian women's team led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to field first. The women in blue dominated their opponents with both bat and ball, limiting the Nigar Sultana-led side to a mere score of 117/8 whereas they scored 121/3 in just 18.3 overs winning the game. During the second innings, Indian openers Shafali Verma smashed 51 runs and Smriti Mandhana scored 47, with a 91-run partnership in 73 balls. Indian women's team took a 3-0 lead with Smriti's 47 off 42 balls after Shafali lost her wicket. Ritu Moni dismissed Shafali and Nahida Akter accounted for Smriti, but the Indian charge continued.
Bangladesh managed to score 44 without giving a wicket during the powerplay. However, Indian bowlers grabbed crucial wickets for the host team including Dilara Akter, casing a brisk start for her who scored 39 off 25 balls.
