The Odisha Subhadra Yojana is a new scheme by the state government to empower women economically and provide financial assistance. Eligible women will receive a Rs 50,000 voucher that can be used over two years, for education, entrepreneurship, and healthcare. The BJP manifesto states that the voucher can be used over two years, promoting self-reliance and development among women in the state.
Odisha's Bharatiya Janata Party government, led by Mohan Charan Majhi, has announced the Subhadra Yojana, providing women with a Rs 50,000 cash voucher within 100 days, aiming to empower women. The scheme aims to empower married women in the state of Odisha, with the application process available both offline and online, benefitting one woman in a family once the BJP government is formed.
The scheme will offer a Rs 50,000 benefit to eligible individuals, including Odisha native women who are married, aged 23-59, and Aganwadi workers. The program is open to one application per family, and not all women in the family will be eligible. Additionally, those interested women should be government employees. The application for the Odisha Subhadra Yojana 2024 requires an Aadhar card, bank account, income certificate, valid address, age proof, marriage certificate, phone number, passport-size photo, and ration card.
To apply for the respective scheme, visit the official website, download the application form, fill out all the required information, submit the form and required documents online or at a designated office, and obtain an acknowledgment receipt or number for future reference.
The exact procedure may vary post-launch, recommended to monitor official announcements or press releases.
