Eveready Industries India Ltd., India's top battery brand, has launched the Eveready Siren Torch, a first-of-its-kind flashlight with a safety alarm. The siren flashlight emits a loud 100dbA SOS alarm when the user pulls the key chain in distress. The product is part of the brand's #AwaazUthaneyKaPower campaign, led by deaf and verbally challenged individuals. The Siren Torch aims to enhance safety and security, empowering women and enhancing daily life.

India's first female officer in the Indian Police Service, Kiran Bedi, has unveiled Eveready's Siren Torch. The torch, equipped with a powerful torchlight and a high-decibel safety alarm, provides illumination and personal protection. The alarm emits a loud siren sound to deter potential attackers in emergencies, making it easy to carry in a bag or pocket. Kiran emphasized the importance of safety tools in empowering women. She mentions, "A woman's physical and inner feeling of safety empowers her; it is essential for her mental health. Sometimes an external tool is needed to feel safe in all circumstances - whether moving out at odd hours or traveling distances to fulfill their dreams. Eveready's unique Siren Torch is a significant step in empowering women to feel safe with an assurance to go that extra mile without hesitation or apprehensions about safety."

Eveready has partnered with India Signing Hands to launch the #AwaazUthaneyKaPower campaign, focusing on women's safety and empowerment. The campaign features a powerful film by Ogilvy India, featuring deaf and verbally challenged women narrating their traumatic experiences in sign language. The Eveready Siren Torch, available in three modern colors and USB TYPE-B charging, is a compact, handbag-friendly device with three versatile lighting modes. Priced at INR 225 it is easily accessible for women and vulnerable individuals.
