Anahat Singh Wins ASF Player of the Year Awards 2025

At the Asian Squash Federation (ASF) Awards 2025, Anahat Singh of India received the honor for being the Player of the Year in women's categories respectively.

Anahat, who is currently ranked as the number 20 player in the world in women's singles, was recognized as the ASF Girls’ Player of the Year and given the Hassan Musa Award after a successful year's worth of performances at Olympics.

The 18 old took home a bronze medal from the World Junior Championships held in Cairo and also competed on the Indian team which placed first at the Squash World Cup. Additionally, she defended her title at Indian Open and has won 16 PSA titles so far.

The ALS Senior Woman’s Player of the Year was awarded to Satomi Watanabe (Japan). Anahat won her first PSA Bronze-level title in February against Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Georgina Kennedy; this allowed her to be placed in the top twenty globally becoming the youngest Asian female to do so, surpassing all ages of females in Asia previously held by Nicol David (Malaysia) in Washington.

Anahat's achievements in the 2024 season also earned her PSA Challenger Female Player of the Season and PSA Young Female Player of the Season titles.
