Women's Day: Women Tech Founders Fuelling India's Digital Economy

International Women's Day is here and the spotlight is falling upon female leaders.  As India progresses towards becoming a global hub of innovation, women tech entrepreneurs are significantly contributing towards strengthening the IT sector by building new solutions to everyday problems.

Women-led businesses are excelling in a wide range of industries from AI and digital health to fintech infrastructure and display technologies. Although women continue to be underrepresented in deep-tech and other key technical leadership roles, women entrepreneurs are continuously changing the landscape through their imagination, their ability not only to think out of the box but also to execute, and their passion for technology.

Through their out of the box thinking and innovation first approach, women tech entrepreneurs are are also emerging as women role models in India's digital space.

For IWD special, WER brings young tech entrepreneurs, Igneta D’Souza, Greeshma Unnikrishnan, Harsimran Kaur, and Sarika Shetty to share their thoughts on what inspires their passion for technology, how their endeavours are contributing to building the tech ecosystem in India, and what they hope will be improved upon to enable women leaders in technology.
