Yuukke Global Ventures, a women-powered marketplace ecosystem, hosted the Yuukke Artha Summit 2026 on October 7 at the Hyatt Regency Chennai, bringing together around 150 women entrepreneurs and leaders from government, industry, finance and the development sector. The summit was themed “Building India’s Next Generation of Financially Independent Women.”

The summit marked the launch of Yuukke Artha, a livelihood and financial-independence program focused on helping women build sustainable sources of income. The initiative aims to enable 10 million women to achieve financial independence by 2030 by creating opportunities for women-led businesses, artisans and grassroots entrepreneurs. Yuukke says the program will support women through earning opportunities, practical learning, digital tools, guidance and community support.

Key Highlights:

  • Yuukke Artha Summit 2026 brought together around 150 women entrepreneurs in Chennai
  • Yuukke Artha aims to help 10 million women achieve financial independence by 2030
  • Yuukke Awards recognised 11 women for their work and achievements

The summit was a day-long event that included a fireside chat on how to create pathways to financial independence and three leadership panels. Discussions revolved around what is needed to build the next generation of financially independent women, what skills women need to acquire now to earn tomorrow and how markets, money and opportunities can help them build, sustain and grow their ventures. The official summit schedule confirms that the summit will be three-panelled and will be about skills, markets and financial independence.

Speakers came together from the various sectors of business, finance, technology, education and professional services that a summit provides. The speakers were Pallavi Tewari Madhok, Women's World Banking, Shalini Warrier, Gosree Finance (Former Executive Director of Federal Bank), Shobhana P Ravi, TAFE, Dr Mahalakshmi G S, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Anna University, and Savitha Kesav Jagadeesan, Kochhar & Co.

The conversations highlighted that financial independence involves more than earning an income. Themes they worked on were access to opportunities, financial knowledge, skills, confidence and ability to build sustainable livelihoods. Financial independence can shape the way women see themselves and their families, and the way future generations think they can be, said Yuukke Founder and CEO Senthamarai Gokulakrishnan.

The summit ended with the Yuukke Awards given to 11 women in various categories for their work and achievements. The awards were conceived to acknowledge and publicly honor women who may not have been given the visibility of their contributions in the past.

With the vision of reaching 10 million women by 2030, Yuukke Artha wants to set up a larger system for women to earn, learn, grow, build and become financially independent.
