Women have always been an integral part of India's development. What is needed today is to take the next step; to help women become entrepreneurs to help others become their employers.
I also call on every segment of society to work together to create a supportive environment for women – a place where guidance and mentorship is available, legal assistance is available, emotional support is available and timely help is available. Even the educated and talented women are still dealing with tough times because of various social, family, and psychological factors.
It is not enough to educate our daughters; it is our duty to make them confident, emotionally strong and capable of meeting life's challenges. That is indeed the empowerment of women, in the truest sense of the word.”

The panel discussion at the event featured Nawaz Modi Singhania, Binitha Dalal, Priti Rathi Gupta and Seetu Kohli who discussed various issues related to women entrepreneurship, investments, brand building, women's financial independence and women playing a growing role in businesses.
