During the Municipal Commissioner’s visit to the Old Age Home, he also toured around the facility and spoke with staff members and officials. He indicated that he plans on hiring a new provider for the care of senior citizens in a more knowledgeable manner.

Improving the quality of life for seniors through increased cleanliness, security, and maintenance will be the basis of this new provider's responsibilities as a provider.

The Commissioner re-emphasized the City & County's commitment to ensuring Senior Citizens receive the treatment of respect and dignity.

The Commissioner visited women’s hostels and assessed the facilities and services available to the women who live there. He spoke with the women to get input about security, sanitation, food, health services, electricity, water, and maintenance.

During this visit, he directed staff to address any deficiencies regarding security of the facility and any issues that might be related to the lack of available facilities. He stressed that it is the duty of the Municipal Corporation to provide a safe, secure, and dignified environment for working women.

After visiting the women’s hostel, Vinay went to the C&D waste processing facility located near Jaloli village to evaluate conditions within the facility.

During this visit, he directed staff to hire a new company to manage the process of scientifically processing and disposing of construction and demolition waste.

He also directed the establishment of a processing plant to be built at this facility, as well as continuing to monitor operations, strengthening the boundary wall, and making any necessary improvements.

He said that it was very important to manage C&D waste appropriately by recycling it to produce commonly used products such as bricks and paver blocks, ultimately assisting with cleanliness and environmental protection.
