Naiyya Saggi, a phenomenal leader in consumer-centric industries has been appointed as an Independent Director by Welspun Living Ltd, a prominent firm in Home Textiles, Flooring Solutions, and Advanced Textiles. She has acquired the respective position for a four-year tenure commencing on April 25, 2024, till April 24, 2028.
In the boardroom, Naiyya offers a plethora of knowledge and experience. She grabbed her degree at Harvard Business School as a Fulbright and JN Tata Scholar and holds an MBA. Additionally, she completed her graduation, BALLB (HONS) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. Naiyya is a key figure in the start-up ecosystem, acts as a prominent voice for women in technology, and is a member of the DPIIT Ministry of Commerce. Naiyya is also a mentor at Facebook's #SheLeadsTech and Google of India and suggested the Government of India's National Startup Awards. She stands out as a proficient investor and has made significant contributions to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including establishing BabyChakra and partnering with Mint to publish a report on 100 Women Entrepreneurs Building India. She also founded 'The Mompreneur Platform' in order to support 1 lakh mom micro-entrepreneurs.
Dipali Goenka, CEO & MD of Welspun Living, has appointed Naiyya Saggi as a strategic member. Naiyya's B2C and e-commerce experience aligns with the company's vision for B2C expansion, particularly with respect to AI and ML disruptions.
