Coca-Cola partners with Hockey India as Part of #SheTheDifference

Anandana, The Coca-Cola India Foundation has partnered with Hockey India for the National Women's Hockey League 2024, as part of its #SheTheDifference campaign to promote women's hockey in India. The National Women's Hockey League features teams from Pune's 14th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2024, representing states like Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Mizoram, Manipur, and Odisha.
The tournament started on April 30, 2024, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, and will conclude on May 9, 2024. The partnership comes with an aim to improve women's hockey by emphasizing vital elements such as coaching, types of equipment for training, dietary supplements, and the planning of camps and tournaments to promote development. The initiative seeks to honor the accomplishments of female athletes and to empower them. As the program's implementation partner, Sporting Ethos provides crucial support to players to help them reach their full potential and contribute to Indian sports.
Hockey India President Dr. Dilip Tirkey expressed joy about this alliance mentioning that this will increase hockey's reputation as a sport and further elevate the significance of women's hockey at a global level. Hockey India Secretary General, Shri Bhola Nath Singh praised the partnership for its commitment to grassroots sports development, especially women's hockey.
