Viacom18 announces Expert Panel in 5 Languages for WPL 2024

The second season of the much-awaited cricket tournament, TATA Women’s Premier League (TATA WPL) 2024 is all set to start on 23 February 2024. The venues selected for the tournament are M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, and Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. The tournament will be managed by an array of expert panels that will be a five-language presentation, announces Viacom18. The discussions held by the experts Anjum Chopra, Reema Malhotra, Sushma Verma, Mona Meshram, Nuzhat Parveen, Karuna Jain, Aakash Chopra, Parthiv Patel, Saba Karim, Srikkanth Anirudha, Sarandeep Singh, Nikhil Chopra, and Abhinav Mukund will be directly broadcasted on the OTT platform, JioCinema.
The Delhi Capitals and the defending champion Mumbai Indians are the season opener of WPL 2024. JioCinema will broadcast the match in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. On TV, Sports18-1 SD & HD offers live coverage of the action in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and English. The Hindi feed will be broadcast on Sports18 - 2 SD and Sports18 Khel.
Viacom18 Sports Head of Content Siddharth Sharma plans to expand the league's impact by offering an accessible, affordable, and multilingual experience, following the highest viewership for any women's event globally last season on JioCinema. Viacom18 will host daily studio shows with expert analysis and player interviews, hosted by Sanjana Ganesan, Ridhima Pathak, Supriya Singh, and Preeti Dahiya. Fans can follow JioCinema and Sports18 on various social media platforms.
WPL Huddle offers light-hearted content for fans, featuring top players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, and Deepti Sharma. WPL Heroes provides background stories, insights, training sessions, and expert reviews for the 2024 season. JioCinema partners with Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals to offer exclusive content and interviews with top players.
