The right-handed batter, Kashvee Gautam of the Gujarat Giants is out of the Women's Premier League 2024 (WPL 2024) due to an injury. The quick bowler and all-rounder made history in December 2023 when the Gujarat Giants signed her for an incredible Rs. 2 crore, making her the most expensive uncapped player in One Day Premier League history. She is an exemplary player of the Women's Cricket team who has secured a 10-wicket haul, including a hat-trick, in an ODI game for Chandigarh in 2020.
Sayali Sathgare has been announced as Kashvee Gautam's replacement for the tournament. She is all set to enter the team Gujarat Giants. Sayali is a left-arm bowler. She has been signed in for a whopping amount of Rs. 10 lakh reserve price. This is her opportunity to excel in the elite WPL and help her team win.
Another player, India's all-rounder Kanika Ahuja, who plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), has faced injuries that ruled her out for competing in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024. In order to fill that void in the lineup, Shradda Pokharkar, a left-arm fast bowler, has been selected to take her place. With a reserve price of Rs 10 lakhs, she was signed in.
Shraddha, at 25, gained fame for her exceptional bowling performance in the 2021-22 senior women's T20 league, demonstrating her strength and determination to compete against prominent batters.
