Neha Sharma has been appointed by Vedanta, one of the largest global mining and metals companies, to serve as the Group CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer) starting on 10 February 2026.

Neha's hire comes after the resignation of Madhu Srivastava, who will leave the role of Group CHRO after serving at Vedanta for 13 years and 7 years in the position, as indicated in a regulatory filing. Her last day as CHRO will be 31 January 2026.

Neha comes to Vedanta with over two decades of global HR experience, and an MBA from MIT Sloan. She has also held various HR leadership positions in the U.S., Mexico, and India.

Prior to joining Vedanta, she was at Unifi Aviation, where she was responsible for the people strategy of over 40,000 employees at more than 250 airports across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Neha has successfully led multiple large-scale transformations of organizations, built retention-focused and reliability-focused leadership systems, proved her ability to combine strategic planning with tactical execution, and managed complex, fast-paced operating environments, which will be an advantage as she leads Vedanta's people strategy in today's ever-changing global marketplace.
