TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 to Bring 29 Women Founders to Hyderabad

Hyderabad is set to host the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 from September 24 to 26, bringing together women founders, investors, mentors and entrepreneurship leaders from across Asia. The three-day gathering will provide a platform for women entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, explore funding opportunities, strengthen business networks and pursue cross-border growth.
The summit will feature 29 women founders from over 25 TiE chapters in Asia and over 100 delegates, and approximately 50 investors and ecosystem leaders. It will emphasis on enhancing women entrepreneurship through learning, networking, investment, mentoring, scalability and access to international markets.
It will additionally be the Asia area stage of the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2026. The Asia semi-finals will take place in TiE Hyderabad on September 24-26 and will lead to the Global Final Pitch Competition in December, as per the official TiE Women program calendar.

The core of the program will be the women entrepreneurs who are participating in the program along with their startups who will get an opportunity to pitch their startups, interact with investors, get mentored by experienced mentors and connect with entrepreneurs from other markets.
The summit will be based on six pillars of TiE Women: learning, mentoring, and access to funding, scalability, safe space and community. “The initiative is aimed at helping women entrepreneurs develop innovative solutions, creating a meaningful social and economic impact”, said Nandini Aggrwal, Associate Director at TiE Women and member of the TiE Women Global Leadership Team.
Nandini has a proven track record in start-up schemes, corporate liaison, marketing, research and ecosystem development. Prior to joining TiE, she had a stint with Startups, Inc42 Media, FICCI and other organisations working with Cisco giving her exposure to entrepreneurship business development and innovation focused programs.
The TiE Women Asia Pitch Competition will be one of the key features of the event. Winners, and top performers, of the regional rounds will advance to the Global Finals where the strongest female entrepreneurs across all regions will compete internationally. The 2026 program has already received over 11,000 applications from 62 countries, helped to accelerate over 500 women-led startups, and mentored over 1,000 women entrepreneurs, says TiE Women.
Murali Kakarla is the Founder & CEO of Innobox Systems and a key technology entrepreneur and President of TiE Hyderabad 2026. He previously held engineering leadership positions at AMD, NVIDIA and PortalPlayer, and has an embedded systems and wireless background, as well as consumer electronics. He has a patent pending for optimising the power usage of portable devices.
“Let's bring to light the dynamic innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem of the city,” Murali said.
The summit is expected to foster greater women entrepreneurship, women in business, startup leadership and access to investment and will also provide new opportunities to women-led startups to grow beyond the domestic market, as Hyderabad is all set to host women founders from all across Asia.
